Organized by Stone Town Council, this eagerly anticipated event promises to be a delightful experience for car enthusiasts and nostalgia seekers alike.
60 Classics and More on Display
With approximately 60 classic cars taking center stage, Stone’s High Street and Market Square will transform into a vintage paradise between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. This free event welcomes visitors of all ages to explore a treasure trove of automotive history, where elegance and nostalgia collide.
High Street Road Closure for a Day of Timeless Beauty
To ensure an unobstructed view of these automotive masterpieces, a road closure will be in place on High Street from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm on the day of the event. During this time, only the classic cars participating in the event will grace the High Street, creating a unique and immersive experience.
A Trip Through Time
Local resident Peter Cresswell, a passionate member of the Stone Classic Car Group, has rallied his friends and colleagues to showcase their prized classic cars in Stone. This year’s event is set to be extra special, featuring three unique displays that pay tribute to automotive icons:
- Celebrating 100 Years of MG: MG, a name synonymous with British sports car excellence, will take center stage as enthusiasts and admirers marvel at a century of automotive innovation and style.
- 70 Years of Triumph Sports Cars: The legendary Triumph brand will be celebrated for seven glorious decades of producing iconic sports cars that have captured the hearts of driving aficionados worldwide.
- 60 Years of the Mini Cooper S: The Mini Cooper S, a British automotive legend, will be honored for six decades of revolutionizing compact car design and performance.

Councillor Jill Hood, Chairman of the Council’s Tourism and Town Promotion Sub-Committee, expressed her excitement about the event, saying, “The Town Council is pleased to be able to bring a Classic Car event to Stone High Street once again.
